Goalie Clinic - Saturday, February 13

We have been given the opportunity to provide a goalie clinic for goaltenders and coaches who are interested in learning and refining techniques and drills.  Goalie coach, Ken Bartlett from Ontario Canada will be visiting Doha and has offered to provide a couple of hours of his time to work with our goalies.  Please note the following information:

When:

Saturday, February 13^th

2:15 - 3:15: Novice and Atom goalies and /or a coach, parent

3:15 - 4:15: Pee Wee and Bantam goalies and / or a coach, parent

Details:

Ken will go through the drills and practices that should be reinforced with goalies on a regular basis – ensuring that goalies, and their coaches, both have knowledge of skills that need attention.  Examples of these include positioning; stick, blocker and catcher usage; the butterfly; and the one pad slide.
